Grocery Bag Outreach

There are likely hundreds of very low income families within just a couple miles of St. C - many are hispanic families. This year again we want to reach out to these folks as the caring body of Christ and bring a blessing into their life. A list of groceries is very specifically defined to feed a family of 4 a common Christmas meal - home made tamales with rice, beans, and veggies. Please consider participating in this outreach activity that blesses some of the least, or needy ones within our community.

To fill one bag and feed a family costs right at $40 dollars - and the recipients will be significantly touched and grateful - Greatly changing the atmosphere of Christmas for them. You can deliver the bags of food to the choir room as late as Wednesday evening after the Christmas party - Also, plan to join us on Thursday (Dec. 22) morning (~7:30 am) as we deliver these to the individuals - it's so cool to give freely to those that are in need.

Thanks again for contributing to this special Christmas outreach ministry - the list of groceries and bags are located in hallway toward the welcome center.

please contact Ally Hardick or Greg Oliver if you have any questions.
