FORMATION AND FELLOWSHIP

The St. Christopher Children's Ministry welcomes children from Birth - 5th Grade.

Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart.  Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.

(Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

St. Christopher Episcopal Church offers a variety of programs and events for children. From Sunday School, children's sermons, serving as acolytes, to fellowship events, outreach projects, and missions in the community, the Children’s Ministry leaders are excited to serve your children and partner with families to strengthen and amplify the growing faith of our children. Our goal is to educate and guide our children towards a joyful life centered in the hope and Promise of Jesus Christ.

Christian Formation for students 1st through 5th Grades meets Sundays, 9:15 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. in Classroom 5. The curriculum is Word-based, making use of prayer, lively stories, and crafts to correspond with readings heard in Sunday worship. The lessons are designed to offer families opportunities to discuss and live out their faith, together and in the community, each member having heard and reflected upon the same scriptures.

Other invitations throughout the year include an Advent mini-retreat, St. Nicholas Day visitation, Burying of the Alleluias, Pancake Supper, Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Backpack Blessing, Trunk or Treat, as well as various parties and special events. See the service leaflet or subscribe to The Spotlight to stay informed as to calendar items and schedules.

St. Christopher Nursery is available, Sundays, 7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Infants and Toddlers (0-36 months) and Pre-K (37-60 months) are welcome.
