Coming of the King: The Season of Advent! - Letter from the Rector

As we approach the new Church year, leaders of the church have discerned that we have an opportunity to do something a little different, something we’ve never done before. For the last few years, we have done “Santa’s Warehouse”, which was an outreach to families from League City Elementary School. We gathered toys and staged them in Buckner Hall, inviting these families to come shop for Christmas toys, while the children did arts and crafts. Earlier this year, it was discovered that Interfaith Caring Ministries, with which we have a long history and relationship, was doing the same outreach effort, at a much larger scale and inviting the same families.
